Welcome to Sweat X Serve: is a digital hybrid group-fitness program with a mission to connect individuals through fitness and to support community healthcare initiatives. Launching in May 2020, we we hoped to virtually connect individuals through their mind, body, and spirit. Sweat X Serve was founded to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts via the UT Austin Dell Medical School COVID-19 fund. The proceeds raised from our classes will continue to assist with COVID-19 relief efforts as well as other important healthcare and societal initiatives around the Austin area. We are passionate about helping our community while doing what we love: teaching fitness classes and connecting the mind, body, and spirit.

 

We hope that all of you will sweat and serve with us!

Our Founders

Sweat X Serve was founded by Ingrid Villarreal, Becca Friday, and Isabella Villarreal.

Ingrid Villarreal

Founder

Yoga Sculpt Instructor

Ingrid is a student at the University of Texas at Austin in the Health Science Scholars Honors Program. In addition, she is the President of the Kendra Scott Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute's Student Board. She plans to attend medical school after her undergraduate studies. Ingrid is a certified Yoga Sculpt Yoga Instructor. Ingrid loves to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. Check out our schedule to see when Ingrid teaches.

Isabella Villarreal

Founder

Pilates Instructor

Isabella is a student at Rice University in part of the Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars Program. She is a certified mat Pilates instructor & is completing her 200 Yoga Teacher Training Program.

Becca Friday

Founder

Barre Instructor

Becca goes to the University of Texas at Austin and is majoring in Nutritional Sciences and Public Health. She hopes to become a PA and work in the medical field. Join Becca in her barre class: all levels welcome!
